People carry a name, phone, email, notes, spouse and up to four children. Businesses carry contact details, visit notes and a category.

100 metres by default. Pro lets you tune each place from 50 m for one apartment door up to 1 km for a whole neighbourhood.

Your people are none of our business
An app that knows where your friends live and what you think of your clients had better keep that to itself. @Reminder is built so that it has to.
Stored on your phone
Every place, note and name lives in a local database on your device. Sensitive location data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with the keys in your device's Keychain. No account to create, ever.
We never see it
There is no @Reminder server. Geofencing runs on the phone itself. The only thing we ever receive is anonymised subscription status from Apple — never a location, a contact or a note.
iCloud sync is yours
Optional sync uses CloudKit to copy your data between your own devices via your own iCloud account, handled entirely by Apple. Switch it off any time in Settings.
The full policy is written to be read — read the privacy policy. This site keeps the same promise: no cookies, no analytics, no third-party requests.

One developer, zero servers
Hi — I'm Tertius. I built @Reminder after one too many arrivals with a blank mind: at friends' gates, at client sites, outside shops I'd driven to for a reason I could no longer name. I wanted my own notes handed back to me at exactly the spot where they matter.
It's self-funded and has no growth team. The app makes nothing from your data because it never sees any — Pro upgrades are the whole business model.
